the mitsuko series
this series is dedicated to Mitsuko, who also found the titles and did the calligraphy. the images are inspired by ink paintings. This series contains 6 collections of 12 images, in total 72.

jaku wa
jaku wa is an homage to the tea ceremony the sado. jaku means calmness and wa means harmony. so the title is calm harmony in reference to sen no rikyu, the renowned master of the japanese tea ceremony. jaku wa contains a series of 32 still photographs and a short film.

the emotional mask
this series is inspired by the art of no theatre. the players are wearing masks, not to hide emotions but to show them. the expression is depending to the light and angle and if the player will lift or lower his head. series of 32 photographs.
